Moncock was born on July 7th, the brainchild of three creative minds: Bibbu, Puichi, and Smilypong. Guided by an idea from Thisisfin to create their own unique “monanimal,” the trio brought Moncock to life. During a voice chat, they discovered a chicken character sticker on Discord, created by Reganz. After obtaining permission and support from Reganz, who joined their team, the name “Moncock” was coined by Thisisfin.

Notably, Moncock was inspired by the traditional Thai sport of cockfighting, known for its competitive and cultural significance. The strength and fighting spirit of these fighting roosters greatly influenced the design and character development of Moncock, adding a unique and captivating element to its persona.
